Free Concert to benefit Midlands Chapter of S.C. Citizens for Life

Public Service Announcement July 28, 2009

For Immediate Release

Please join Midlands Citizens for Life for a benefit praise and worship concert Friday, October 2nd, at 7:00 pm in the Shortess Chapel at Columbia International University. Mercy’s Craft of Gilbert, SC will be the featured group. Meet and hear from representatives from the metro Columbia pro life ministries and outreaches. The debut of “Would she have Janie’s blue eyes?” music video will be shown. There is no cost, but a love offering will be received for Midlands Citizens for Life, sponsor of the event. All ages are welcome, but especially youth groups will enjoy this! Come join us!

Mercy’s Craft is the praise and worship band from the Tool Shed, a contemporary church in Gilbert, SC. Mercy’s Craft vision is that “We’re humans that make mistakes, have problems, and are not perfect by any means. But through Jesus Christ, all of our past and future failures are erased. God’s mercy makes us who we are today.”

Midlands Citizens for Life is a chapter of SC Citizens for Life, affiliated with National Right to Life. We are a single issue organization educating and upholding the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death, protecting the most vulnerable, the handicapped, elderly and sick. For more information about the concert, or Midlands Citizens for Life, contact Maggie Koestner, President at 741-9077 or call 252-5433.
